FAQ

User management questions

Can I handle WordPress user management without opening wp-admin?
Yes. CMDPress lists each connected site’s users in its record with their role, email and registration date, so you can review and manage accounts without opening the WordPress dashboard. When you need to go further, activity history shows what an account did, and Magic Login opens wp-admin with a one-time link.
How do I manage WordPress users across multiple sites?
Connect the sites to one CMDPress workspace and review each site’s users from its record, without a separate login per site. Check roles and registration dates for old or unexpected accounts, and use Magic Login when a change needs wp-admin. Your own team’s access to those sites is set separately, through workspace roles and per-site access.
How do I add a user to WordPress?
In wp-admin, go to Users, Add New, enter a username and email, choose a role, and save. Give each person the lowest role that fits their work, such as Editor for content, and keep Administrator for full control. From CMDPress, Magic Login opens wp-admin for a connected site in one click, so you do not need the site password.
How do I find and remove old WordPress users?
Review each account’s role and registration date, and check what it did recently before deleting it. CMDPress shows both in the site record, with activity history one step away. When you delete a user in wp-admin, WordPress asks whether to delete their content or attribute it to another user, so pick a current account to keep their posts.
