FAQ

Site analytics questions

How do I see Google Analytics in the WordPress dashboard?
WordPress does not show Google Analytics data by itself; a plugin such as Google’s Site Kit adds reports to wp-admin. CMDPress takes another route: GA4 data opens inside each connected site’s record in CMDPress, scoped to that site’s property, so you can check traffic without signing in to wp-admin or adding a reporting plugin.
How do I add Google Analytics to WordPress without a plugin?
Paste the GA4 Google tag from your Analytics data stream into the head of every page, usually through a child theme’s header or a theme setting for header code. Data starts collecting once the tag loads. To read that data later, CMDPress shows the site’s GA4 property inside its site record, next to its maintenance work.
Can I check one client’s Google Analytics without switching accounts?
Yes. In CMDPress, Analytics opens inside the client’s site record, already scoped to the right GA4 property, so you do not hop between separate accounts and dashboards. Pick the period in question and review traffic, audience and sources without building a GA4 report.
Can I put Google Analytics data in client reports?
Yes. CMDPress client reports can pair a site’s traffic with the maintenance you delivered, so a client sees both the work and the results in one place. Reports go out white-label under your agency brand. The same workspace also holds Search Console and AdSense data if you want a wider picture.
